Working for More than one Employer

Hi Fellows,

Would you know if it is allowed to work for more than one employer, One full time who sponsered the GC and is alright if I worked part time for another gig.

I am in AOS Pending for the last 2 years and Have been working on my EAD for the last 2 years.

You're doing what's right for you. Make the best of the situation, make more money.

By the way, can you give me advice or any anecdotal experience you have on how to get another job in addition to the full time job? Most probably, the second one would be a part-time gig, or
some type of contract, due to time constraints.

The thing is I don't know how to get or where to look for such
part-time gigs in my area (I'm a s/w engineer).

I rescued a few companies from loosing their entire infrastructure which corrupted their db due to hardware failure and being lucky that I know what I do, I made a lot of contacts and every now and then they ask for help.

However they all would like to pay me but I was not sure if this is allowed.

My suggestion to you is that you should put your name on Hotjobs and monster.com for part time gigs. These usually are the ones where you can find lots of work .
