I have been laid off by company A and I am entering my warn period during which the company is paying me as a regular employee (getting paychecks every two weeks for two months). I have gotten a job at company B and waiting for my visa to be transferred to start there. My question is the following:
Can I start working at company B once my visa is transfered and still collect my pay from company A? What are the legal implications for this? I am required by law to tell company A to stop my paychecks or can I collect both pay from companies A and B?
