working as contractor during AOS

Hi,
My 485 was filed in mid-March and I have an EAD which I have not used yet. If I were to get laidoff after 180 days or voluntarily quit, can i work as an independent contractor while my 485 is waiting to be adjudicated?

yes

you can work using EAD on any job, but make sure that you have a FULL time job when your 485 is approved otherwise it will be denied.
