Is working abroad after getting GC not allowed? Does it create problems for the citizenship process?

I got employment based GC in 2003 through a Fortune 500 company. I then left US for India and worked in India for a year and half (2003-2005) after getting my GC but I had a re-entry permit during that time. I returned to US in 2005.

I have now applied for citizenship based on continuous stay of 5 years in US starting in 2005.

Can the time spent working in India after GC cause a problem with citizenship?

Please advise.
 
Yes, accepting employment overseas is considered abandonment of your residence in US if it is not with a US Company or US government.
