see I'm newly grad and never could be more ready to explore the world. me thinking about job hunting internationally. but my question is: would there be any problem if I live and work aboard right after I become U.S citizen? I heard it used to require another year residence to maintain your newly citizenship. not sure if that's still the case.

You can work outside US right next day after the citizenship. There is a court case that you can google where judge ruled against such provision (1 year stay after getting citizenship)

Enjoy your world travel !!!
