My i-485 is being processed and I got my EAD in March 2002. I applied for renewal in Jan 2003 and got renewed EAD in April 2003 so I worked for nearly a month without a valid EAD. I went to BCIS office and was told that since I have a valid receipt of valid EAD it will not be a problem. Only if for some reason my EAD was dened than I will be in hot water. Should I be worried about working for a month with an expired EAD?
