I am F1 student, just applied for practical training. 2 yr ago I worked with small company where they promised to process H1. Unfortunately the company went under before process began and ex-boss sent me a 1099. I didn't file taxes but now irs wants the tax return.
1. Will this affect my chances of getting practical training if I file and take care of that issue?
Also I am married to p. res. and spouse will be filing I130.. will that help any?
