Completely out of ignorance, I worked on L2 visa 2 times in a period of 8 months. Fortunately the total number of days is < 180 days. I have always been thinking that I can work on L2 visa and now aware that need an EAD first. Of course on L2 I can get EAD anytime. None of my employers asked for EAD, they just checked in L2 visa and gave me employment.
I believe that since I worked less than 180 days in total, I am OK from immigration standpoint. One more thing I did was that after I came to know that I worked without authorization, I went out of country and came back on new I-94. I believe that further clears the immigration stuff. Am I perfectly fine now to apply for GC ?
