Work while pending H1B and extension issues

Hello all,
Please help me figure out few things:
1. I am transferring my H1B to another employer, can I start working for them while the case is pending?
2. Can I still keep my first job as part time? I heard that part time requires a whole different process - what is it?
3. My initial 3 years is expiring in October, but because I'm transferring to another employer, they applied for my transfer this month. I'm sure I'll have to do premium processing to make it (job starts August 22nd), but in any case, once this is approved, do I have to apply for a separate extension for 3 more years come October? Or does this transfer constitute the extension?

Hello,
Does anyone know the answers to the questions above? I really need your help, please.
Thanks a bunch.

I dont really have a answer for you but have the same question.

Were you able to figure out how this works?

Can any expert shed some light on this issue please?

You can start working for them once you have received your H1-B transfer receipt.

I don't think so. If you want to work for your old company, you need another H1-B. One H-1B is attached to one company only.

Check your application. You should file an application to transfer AND extend your H1-B status. If you file an application only to transfer your H-1B, I don't think if they will extend it automatically. If they don't, you have to file another application to extend it immediately after it's approved.

A particular important thing for you: if you have dependents, remember to extend their H4 status now. Company lawers won't extend their H4 status (unless you pay them extra fees). Don't assume their H4 will be extended automatically with your H1B extension. Otherwise they may get out of status after October.
