Work Start with EAD approval

Hi,
My work authorization has been approved yesterday. I have been notified by mail but didn't receive the card yet. I am wondering whether the email approval is good enuff to start work or do I have to wait for the physical card. Any insight regarding this is highly appreciated.

email is not good enough, you will need the actual card to prove work authorization.
