sir i am a foreign medical graduate and i came here on b1/b2 visa after that i changed my visa to h1b in januaru 2001which is valid till october 2003 but i did not work in that hospital at all(who sponsered me h1b visa) and after 2 years in november 2002 i got married to a citizen girl and she filed my GC and now i am waiting for wortk permit. my question is
1) can i still get work permit and subsequently be eligible for GC
2) what is my status now?
and if some medicine programes offer me H1 or J1 visa can i get anyof the abovementioned visa since i my H1 is not expired yet?
please help me out since lawers are too expensive and i litrally cant afford any laywer.
