I am currently on a H4 and have found an employer who is ready to file for my H1B visa under the non-profitable oraganization clause. I know that this type of visa is exempted from the regular H1B quota, but wanted to know when will I get the approval to start work in the US. The regular H1B visa has the work permit/authorization to work from Oct 01 every year, so wanted to know is there any such clause for the H1B under the non-profit clause?
