Work on the EAD while I-485 is pending

I wonder if it is a good idea to work part time with another emloyer on my EAD (I have H1 visa and I-485 pending)
while I continue to work for my sponsoring employer. Sometimes I find contracts and I think that when the money comes
it is not smart to say NO.
I just wonder if there might be a potential issue with the INS and the pending I-485. Please send me
your experience or opinions.
