Work for US company in foreign country

If I work for US company in foreign country, will the time count toward the citizenship?

Is it any way I work in foreign country and it will count toward the citizenship? e..g US company internal transfer to another country something like that.

mostly if you do an internal transfer to another country within the same company, you might not consider to be on US company's payroll. i might be wrong but however, it is what my previous company does.

You need to file an "N-470, Application to Preserve Residence for Naturalization Purposes ". http://uscis.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/n-470.htm

To qualify for this is hard. Even if you work for a US company overseas you may not qualify
