I’ve been working in US on H1B for about 3 years now. I also recently completed processing my Canadian PR. My wife also has Canadian PR but she’s been staying outside the Canada for almost 3 years now, so she must come back over there as soon as possible and stay there in order to keep her PR status.
Currently I’m working for some US company on contract basis and they would like to transfer my H1. It would work for me if I hadn’t to be in Canada with my wife, so they proposed me to work for their branch in Calgary but I’ll need to visit their US head office once a month or so.
My questions are:
What visa type is the best in this case H1, L1, B1 or anything else?
How long will it take to make a visa transfer?
