Work for a very small company

I am thinking of using AC21 to work for a friend's company he is just starting. I would be his first employee. Any risks?

First employee??? You might as well start your own company to join!

If USCIS asks for company's ability to pay and past financial statements, you could be in trouble working for a startup company. I am not sure if USCIS can ask this question in I-485 stage with AC21 (for sure it is for I-140).
