Without rescheduling FP, Can we go on later date?

Hi all,

I am in india now and wil be returning back on march 14th.
But my lawyer informed me that my wife got FP notice, and
scheduled time is MArch4th, 2005.

I Cannot come to USA now because Last week Only I came to
India for my brother's marriage.

So Can we reschedule the appointment? PLEASE LET me know the procedure.
Without Rescheduling it, Can we go on a later date?

I am in real tension.

Please advise me

My FP notice was mailed on 9/9/2004 for an appointment on 9/3/2004!! I ended up going to the ASC on 9/14/2004. They did not raise any objections or questions and they took my fingerprints.

So I think you as long as you donot delay too much you should be ok. But what is the max you can delay - this I don't know. By the way my ASC was in Detroit.

Thanks for the reply. FP office is at hartford, CT. But we moved from CT to NJ.
My lawyer is suggesting to reschedule for later FP, In that case Do we need to wait for another letter of FP appointment? If so, I think it will take few months.
Any suggestions are appreciated.]

I had to reschedule my FP2 appointment because, I received the notice letter than the schedule date....

Submitted the reschedule notice at local ASC, They rescheduled it after 4 weeks. I believe your lawyer can reschedule it as well.

You can go and get it done at NJ without rescheduling it

We did at Cleveland, OH while notice mentioned Philly. You will save sometime and hassel of followup.
