I was currently denied an asylum claim for filing more than a year after my arrival but was granted witholding of removal by the same immigration judge. Would it be wise to appeal the judges decision or am I granted any benefits under the order of witholding of removal that would give me the chance to change my status. If so, what are the other benefits for witholding of removal?
