Withdrwa EB1 and link 485 to the NIW

Dear Gurus, Can I withdraw my EB1 which has a tough RFE and link its 485 to the pending NIW since its current.
Youur views will be useful.
 
Pearsons memo

I was also trying to understand Pearsons memo, about linking 485 from an application to another. Only if I140 has been denied or revoked then it cant be, but what if its pending and withdrwan then can it work. Anybody with with any insights....!!!:confused:

If your EB1-I140 is approved then you can relink your pending I485 to EB2-I140. If it is RFE then the decision on EB1-140 (approved/denied) has not been made yet. In this case, I hope it is not possible to relink. At this movement please consult an attorney for further advice.

Thanks for your reply, I have an attorney but they are so busy that dont have time nowadays. I personally think this should be done, as one cant have 2 485 pending which menas for the NIW I cant apply till my RFE is replied to and answered.
So the easiest is withdraw and ask for connection. This will save so much time and effort for us the lawyer and USCIS, because so many less packages will be in transit.
Any other views.
