With in how many days one should reply for a query in I-485.

I was out for vacation in India and I had a query on I-485 regarding company\'s letter and it has been 2 months passed now. Does any one has info on how much time is given by INS to respond to a query?

The query should have the info. Read the query carefully. To my understanding it is 3 months, from the date it is generated.
 
You should respond ASAP - 12 week time limit

VSC/INS allows 12 weeks (3 months) for you to respond to RFE. If you do not respond within this time, they issue an intent to deny notice. With the random mailroom problems, it is best you respond ASAP.
