With H-1B Travel Visa: Can I leave US and come back?

I received my H-1B traveler\'s visa stamping from US Consulate in Montreal (it\'s a multiple entry stamping) early 2001 and I am planning to go back for vacation to Malaysia in the near future. The trip will be for about 2 weeks. I currently hold a valid H-1B visa and valid Malaysian passport.

Does anyone know any information as for any update or restriction or policy changes on this type of travel? Anyone knows what kind of original documents and copies of documents or employer\'s letters do I need to carry with me during my travel? My concern is that due to some updated immigration policies I might not be able to re-enter the States.

Thanks for your help!

See Different Thread For Response

Hi,

Please see the thread "Confusing email from US Consulate in Malaysia, please interprete" (just do a search on "Consulate Malaysia" or something like that).

This seems to be the main Malaysian H1 holder thread, and you should be able to get a response by posting here.

Good luck.
