With EAD switching over to new company...to JIM and others.....

I filed my I-485 in Dec 2001 and got my EAD in Jan 2002. Currently my project is over.Can I work as a fulltimer in other than my parent company before getting GC approval.Is there any possible way of getting a job without affecting my GC processing.
