I was told my case is finally with ajudicating officer. Does that mean all the checks are done and ready for approval?

Thanks,

My case was approved recently ... I had called VSC and the Cust. Supprort Lady said the same to me - I asked her how many days since was my case assignedto the adjuducating officer ? She mentioned 12 days ago .. and within 3 more days I had an approval. So for me I had my case approved in 12 + 3 = 15 days approx.

I also confirmed if all formalities were completed on my case .... she said - the case is assigned to an officer only when all Name check, etc is completed.

But the bottom line is - ITS USCIS - one cannot predict what can happen in that dungeon.

best of luck.

Me in the same boat

Today I went to local congress man's office. Lady over there called VSC directly in front of me. They told her my applicantion has moved to adjudicating area on MAY 13 but not assigned to any officer as of now. I don't understand what the means? (It is in adjudicating area not with officer!!!!). According to msd_gc I should get some response very shortly, huh.
