Update/CSPA

Hi

I went to see attorney at The Catholic Immigration and Refuge Services yesterday

This is a not for profit organization. I had to pay $40 for intake paperwork and appointment was booked

The appointment lasted for approx one and a half hours. I explained to attorney all that had been going on with sons case. At the meeting he told me not to bother with the service centre/consulate or any one else. He said sons case is a point of law not fact??? whatever that means. He also said the DOS is over the consulate and if they agree with all the attornies then the consulate must give son green card.

He wanted to set his own mind at rest to see if sons was protected (as I have always believed) and the opinion of a few attorneys who also said son was protected under CSPA

Today I have received two e-mails already. He has confirmed son is protected but needs me to speak to my attorney to see if he has asked (formally) for an adviosry opinion. If the attorney has not then he will apply for it and is prepared to take case on to conculsion

I guess I will have to pay some fees but they will not be anywhere as high as what I have been paying.
