Anyway, did as new memo instructed and made an Infopass appt after not receiving any news about GC by March 11th. DH did have another FP appt for that day, but the receipt number for his 485 on the appt letter is different from the receipt number we've had for years. So...appt is today in a few hours, please keep your fingers crossed that it's a more productive one then past calls/appts!

Well...as usual not very eventful. We were told that his case has been assigned to "Special Projects", which is what the DC office is calling the cases that are over the processing time due to name check. She said it was assigned on 3/13, so 2 days after DH's last fingerprinting. She also said that that office had literally hundreds of these cases they're working through and hope to be done by mid May. So, we wait. Good thing we're used to it!
At least we know that his case has been identified as one of the outstanding ones, and that they are processing it. I was concerned that it would get lost in the shuffle.
