Winning DV Lottery and overstay the visa

Hi All!!

I have a friend who was wondering if you could help her out! :rolleyes: I don't have the answer for them! :confused:

If they overstay their visa, and win the lottery could they still be able to get the green card? If so where, here or in their home county?

Any commments? Any experience?

If your friend over-stays, he becomes 'out of status' or illegal. IF he wins the lottery he will have to adjust his staus, if he is in the US to become an 'Permanent Resident' He can NEVER adjust to become a PR, in the US or in his home country, if he were ever illlegally in the US, or out of status.
 
Overstaying visa is not an option. I won my DV-2005 and the only way to stay in status was to enroll back to college.
