My girlfriend and I have met each other since October 2012. she and I were living together (we were roommate) in New York City with F 1 Visas. After a while we started to dating about December 2012. On February she suddenly, because of the family problems, decided to go back our home country on about mid of February 2013. Previously she and I were thinking that she will come back to NYC again on September 2013 or a month later, because you know the airplane tickets are expensive during the summer session. And in a 2 years my master and her master will be finished after that we will marry and try to find jobs in the USA, if we can we will stay here, if we cannot then we will go back our home country that was the our 4-5 year plan.However, she won the lottery
)) so that all of our plan is changed. Now we have some questions about our issue and if you take a time to help us we will be appreciated.
Now, if she can enter to the USA, we are thinking to marry here and after that apply for green card as a couple.
Our questions are;
1) Can we take green card? I have some doubt, because our history is not too much, i mean just 6 months before may first 2013. Is this a reason to reject our application ?
2) If our application for green card is rejected, then what will happen to our f1 status? I do not want to lose my f1 status, because I am a master student and if I lose my status all of my previous studies will be worthless. My master study will finish at the end of december 2014.
