Will we get E-mail alert for biometrics?

Anyone who already complied with biometrics request from USCIS, did you guys get e-mail notification before you've received the actual letter and did your online status date got changed? Thanks.

i just have my online status updated

on july 8 my online status changed and it stated that ins received my medical exams

just now the date was updated to july 11,

is this mean iam going to get the bio soon
