My file is being processed in Buffalo, NY in skilled worker category.
If I try to immigrate to UK under the skilled migration program will that hurt my Canadian PR Application? Will the Canadian visa Officer see it otherwise?
I don't think it will hurt in any way. People are applying for USA immigration as well as canadian immigration. All are independent agencies. The bottom line at the end you can be a permanent resident of only one country.
But is it possible to become UK immigrant just by sitting here in USA and applying from here. I was in UK for 3 1/2 years on student visa. Do let me know how are u planning to do it from USA?
UK have been offering this for over a year and this year they made the poitns a bit easier. It's called Highly Skilled Migrant Programme (HSMP) - just search by this.
