Will this second job hurt my I-485

I appreciate any kind advice. My situation is I am working on H-1b as a researcher in University and filed I-485 through NIW. the I-140 has been approved and I also got EAD with me. Now I am planning to take a second part-time job which is not related to my NIW work. My question is:

1. As the principle petitioner can I use EAD to do this unrelated part-time job?
2. I will keep the NIW job as full-time, will this second job hurts my I-485?

Do you have similar experience or have the answers to my question?
I appreciate your response.

Simply, if you use EAD you can have any job anywhere (hence also a 2nd job). As long as you keep the job the GC application is based on (if you have NIW you can even switch - I guess you just need to be in a similar job) you are fine. The only thing using the EAD (for 1st, 2nd...job) would do is invalidate your H-1B. Therefore think if this is worth it to you. Since you have the I-140 approved you are looking pretty good for your NIW GC to go through.
