Will this nullify her I-485?

Hi firends,

My wife went to India with a valid advance parole with her in SEP'03. That AP got expired in DEC'03 when she was still there. She could not come back due to medical reasons. She is still there.
Now, lawyers and everybody say that she cannot come on a new AP.
So, I am trying to bring her on H4 instead of AP.

Will this nullify her I-485?

Multiple H1 or H4 are possible. It does not nullify older H1 or 485. If she is able to reach USA I doubt if her old 485 is nullified.
