Will the name change effect AOS process?

My husband and I got married in Jun 2005 in India... after a couple of months of vacation we came back to US in Aug 2005. I was thinking of changing my name (to start using my husband's last name), but we started planning about starting the AOS process for my husband and the name change was put off.

Now that we have sent the AOS forms, I am once again thinking of the name change, but am wondering if it could have a negative impact on the AOS process. Will it cause a problem? On the other hand, will my not using the same last name as my husband's cause an issue at the interview?

Thanks for your thoughts/suggestions in advance.

This issue has been discussed thousand of times, to mantain your maiden name or change it it is and always has been a personal choice. Just be sure to be uniform in all what you do like if you decided to mantain your maiden name then all the forms should be like that, but if you wanted to change your name then if one has your maiden name and the other has your married name that can cause confusion.
Please make a search about name change over this forum.

Thanks,
