Will the H1B visa still valid while using AP?

Hi, I have a question for using AP for travelling outside USA. I am working with a company with H1B Visa. I got the AP and EAD card right after my I-140 got approved. And I would like to keep my H1B till my GC get approved.
My question is:
Will my H1B sill valid if I travel on AP outside USA? I am not so sure how long does the H1B visa took as the FBI security checking while you coming back?

H1 stays valid even after entering US on AP. Howeverusing EAD invalidates H1.

Using EAD invalidates H1B/H4. Using AP does not invalidate H1.

My wife is on H4 ,I am on H1B.Is the above statement true only if my wife uses EAD, but not me.

if your wife uses ead for employment, she will lose her h4 status and she will have the status of an adjustee. hence, your wife will have to use ap for travel.

you will still have a h1 status. your h1b status is not invalidated.
