Will RFE on 140 suspend AP and EAD?

My husband and I concurrently filed I-140 and I485 under EB1-b. I heard that the RFE on I-140 will suspend the AP and EAD. Is this true? I want to use AP to travel abroad, but worry if there is any RFE on 140, I may not use AP to come back. Please advise. Thanks a lot.
 
As far as my understanding goes both AP and EAD are based on the 485 and not the 140. So an RFE on a 140 has no impact on the AP and EAD and can be used. Only a 140 denial followed immediately by a 485 denial would invalidate both the AP and EAD. But this knowledge is gleaned by trawling the forum.

Anybody differs. Please post.
