Will Retrogression affect long pending cases like mine as well ??

PD: March 2001,EB2
I-140 /I485 Concurrent RD: Sept 2002
I-140 AD : Dec 2002
Changed Employer using AC-21 after 180+ days of 485 RD.
FP: Sept 2004
FBI Name check cleared in July 28,2005,,however Texas center still says Security check is pending

3 EAD's, 3 APs'....if i don't hear anything this month will have to apply for my 4th EAD.

I am Fed up of waiting so looooooooooong !! Does the new Retrogression rule means that if i don't get the I-485 approval before Sept,30,2005, I am stuck for few more years ?

You may compare ur PD, if ur PD according to ur country is less than published date they will consider ur case to process, else u have to wait untill PD become current.

One of my friend's wife is affected by this retrogression crap. He is
not able to apply for 485 for his wife as his PD is Jan 2001 (he is under
EB3 category). He is planning to do F1 for his wife.
