will public assistances affect I-485 application?

I have been on Charity Care, WIC and Kidcare before my I-140 application was approved. Do I need mark "yes" for the question "Have you received public assistance in the U.S. from any source, ...."? If I answer "yes", will there be a problem for my I-485 application? If I answer "no", will INS regard it as a cheat behavior? If anyone has in the similar situation, please give me a suggestion.

Where did you see these questions?

My lawyer told me that Unemployment is a legal thing to apply for and will not affect the I-485 Interview?

So I would answer Yes for me.
