Will postoffice hold my EAD card?

Gurus,

I need ur advice. I am going to be out of town for 15/20 days
and I am planning to put a hold for my letters at postoffice.
I am expecting my EAD card in next 15 days and I would like to
know if postoffice will hold my EAD card or return it back to
VSC. Please let me know if any one had a simillar experience.

Post Office Will Hold

The EAD card comes from VSC as a regular piece of mail, so if you ask the post office to hold your mail, then they will hold it and not send it back. The post office has no way to know that a piece of mail has to be returned after some time. The only time they return is if you get a certified mail, in which case there is a time period within which the mail has to be delivered. If it cannot be delivered in this time period, then it is returned to the sender. As i said earlier, the EAD comes via regular first class mail with a 34c stamp, so u shud get it when u go to claim your mail.
