will new part-time H1B application affect existing GC process?

hi,
I am thinking to apply for part-time H1B and plan to work part-time for one more employer.
I just wanted to know if I stick with my original employer and also initiate a new part-time H1B application through another employer, will it effect my GC process?
My I-140 is already approved in March'05 through existing employer and I-485 stuck in name check.
BTW I-485 is pending since 14 months.

if you don't forsee any problems with your 485 approval, why not use EAD? The only problem with using EAD is that in case 485 is denied, you don't have a visa (like H1b) to fall back on.

Let us take a reverse scenario. A person is working on two H1's, one full time and one part time. Now the person applies for GC thru one of them, gets 140 approved and 485 pending. The person can still keep on working for 2 employers although the 485 is going on with one employer.

If the above scenarios does not matter, why should it matter if you do 2 H1 now. My openion, it should be no issue.
