Will my son be able to get US citizinship at the time

Hi,

I am a PR and I will try to get US citizenship.

My son who is a PR as well is under 18 years.
He will be 16 about the time we send all the forms and everything. Can he become US citizen with us or he has to wait to be 18 years old and doit by himself.
