Hi everybody...hope you can help me...
My wife is about to get a GC (EB3 profession.) or a H visa...she wants to fill a following for me to join her through the consular.
I read on this web site that the consular office will not check if:
I've worked with a restricted SSN and
if I was out of status
(less than 1 year, because the international student advisor reported me in feb 2003 and I left the country in nov 2003).
Is this true?
I left the US without being asked to leave and no authorities contacted me about my student status or my SSN.
Will my I-824 be accepted?
How long will it take to get my visa?
If not, and they found out, will they also deny my wife a visa?
