Will my DO transfer my case when I move??

I have a family based AOS case pending at the local DO filed by my citizen spouse. Our case has been pending in that office since Feb. of 2008. We were planning to file the WOM lawsuit but we’re now thinking about moving to another state due to a new job opportunity. My question is that if we move now, will our current DO send our case to the new DO? If so, how long would it take? Is it possible to file WOM in a state while your case is pending is another state?
