Will Local Office Give Me Any Info

I submitted my I-485 package to the Boston office back in June 2004. Got my EAD and AP very promptly...but now nothing.

I know from this website and others that some Bos folks that submitted thier papers around the same time have received interview letter. Indeed, even people that submitted after me have letters, while some that submitted before me have not.

So the first thing I have learned is that this whole process is rather random.

If I were to make an infopass apt at the boston office, will they be able to tell me the status of my case?

I think it is worth trying. No one can really tell you. All local offices and even the officers are not the same. So, I would just make the Infopass appointment and find out firt hand.
