Will Late FP delay 485 Approval

I just go across the rupnet.com, for all July 2001 filers,
There are 26 applicants did their FP after 3/01/2002.
Among all of them, only 2 got approval, 3 got RFE.
5 / 26 = 19%

while for all Julys, approval = 197, RFE = 16, total = 213
213 / 326 = 65%

There is big difference.
 
I do believe there late FP delays the processing

No. It won\'t effect the processing.

FP is one of the formality to be completed before your I-485 approval. So it doesn\'t matter whether late FP or early FP. If you don\'t have your FP scheduled yet, it is better to contact attorney or talk to IIO regd its schedule and try to complete this formality.
 
Well, it could delay your approval if it\'s too late...

As long as the FP results are ready when your files are picked up by an officer to process, it\'ll be fine. Otherwise, it could be delayed. I\'ve seen postings that somebody was experiencing that kind of situation...
 
FP delay hugely to approval

Thats why VSC is doing FP for new applicants within 2 months of mailing date. They understood the problem and took necessery action.
