Will I lose E2 Visa while waiting for Green card sponsored by my daughter?

Hi all,

I am currently in USA on a E2 visa with my wife and stepson who I sponsored through my E2 Visa. Now my daughter, an USA citizen, is going to sponsor me for GC.

My question is, will my current E2 Visa become invalid once I file my application?

If my E2 Visa becomes invalid, in what ways my wife and stepson can keep staying in USA lawfully, so that once I get my GC, I can sonsor them?
