Will I be able to renew my EAD while I-140 still pending ?

Hi,

My I-140 was filed on July 27, 2007, I applied for my I-485 on Aug. 13th, 2007 and got my EAD in Oct. 2007.

My Questions is, will i be able to get my EAD Renewed, which i have to do in Oct. 2008(Will do couple of months early) if my I-140 is not approved by than ?

Please reply if anybody has any idea.

Yes, FYI - EAD is based on the pending I-485.

Depends on the processing speed of USCIS. Some people say file it 6 months ahead of expiry to be safe. Yes this is same for AP and EAD.
