Will Govt. Close? Then Will INS Close?

The news says that chances are
that the Govt. may shut down
between 14th Nov. to 30th Nov.
It will be real pity? Any
thought for encouragement.

Lets Hope for the best and frankly speaking with so much going on, its hard to forsee a govt shut down and even if it shuts down , I personally think it will be for good cause.

If the govt shuts down then all govt services ( except emergency services) including INS will be shut down too.

Do\'nt worry. The chances are that impasses\' will
be solved. If not, it will close about a day or two,
not more than that. I recall a few years ago,
govt. shut down for about two days (that is
what i recall). Frankly, i do\'nt think same.

Hi, Can anybody tell me why the Govn shutdown ?
I remember on Dec. 1995, they closed for 2+ weeks.

Are you sure it was 2+week. I
thought it was about 2 days.
If it was +week, there will
be many problems for
the EAD renewal/etc.

I am not sure if it was 2 weeks; but it definitely was a lot more than 2 days. I don\'t think it will come to that at all this time. The stakes are way too high. I am sure the Prez will sign a continuing resolution that will keep the govt. running till the new budget is passed.
