Right after being laidoff, my I-485 was moved to NY for an interview
My ND is Sep 2000, FP Nov 2000. Is the interview only for people with many question marks (untrustworthy people)? Do I need a lawyer? I did not do anything wrong except I got laidoff. I know that the I-485 usually needs no interview.
If I hire a lawyer, I do not know for what purpose because I do not see any problems in my past. May be the lawyer can speed up the processing.
Please comment and provide advice on a good lawyer and fees.
