Will EADs be Approved next 2-3 weeks?

Hi All,

There are some rumors floating that processing of I-485s have stopped for 2-3 weeks. I wanted to know if processing of EADs have also been stopped.

Any comments are highly appreciated.

Its only a rumor

I am informed by attorney that its only a rumor, no official hold on approving 485s or for that matter anything else.
But INS can achieve the same effect without a moratarium.
There are also a couple of threads in these boards on this topic where people had quoted articles that include statements from spokespersons. Please go through them.
 
Before recent changes, we could go to local office and collect an EAD if, the EAD application has been pending for 90 days. Will that not be possible now? We filed for EAD extension October 21st. But our current EAD expires on Dec 17th. Is there anyone who has got EAD extension within 3 months or around that?
