I am in a terrible situation right now. I need your guys help. I am working for consulting company. I filed my I-140 and I-485 on Jun-04-2004. I got my EAD in the 2nd week of August. Now my company gave me 2 weeks notice of termination because they couldn't find a project. I will be terminated Sep-30-2004. I have only 6 months left in my H1-Visa. Following are my queries:
1) Will my EAD get cancelled if my employer withdraws my I-140? If my 140 is withdrawn, can I atleast work for a different employer until my EAD gets expired. My EAD expires in August 2005.
2) Being 2 month left to complete my 180 days for my I-485, I am safe at this point. Did any one got his/her 140 approved when they terminated 2 month before they are suppose to complete 180 days.
