Will DV lottery entry impact/hamper H1B processing

Hi all,

I have applied for a US-based position and having passed all technical tests I am awaiting decision whether I will be selected after all other local candidates processing is finished and businness decision is made. Then I would be brought into US on H1B.
In the meantime I would like to try my chances in DV2015 lottery, however, I would like to make sure that having an entry submitted into DV will not impact my H1B processing, should it happen.

My concerns are that having applied for DV implies willingness to immigrate on a permanent basis, whilst H1B is employment-based and such intent is expected to be heard from the individual under interview at the consulate/embassy.

Do you have any hints guys ?

DV entry would not have any effect. H-1B is one of the few visas that allow 'dual intent', meaning it's technically a nonimmigrant visa but with a recognized immigrant intent. It's perfectly fine for an H-1B visa applicant to say that he wants to stay in USA.
